Pool Supply Express Limited Warranty Policy

At Pool Supply Express, we stand behind the quality of our products. This Limited Warranty applies to all eligible items purchased directly from our website (poolsupplyexpress.com). It is designed to cover manufacturer defects while protecting both you and our business with clear, fair terms.

1. Warranty Coverage

Duration: One (1) year from the original date of purchase.
What is Covered: This warranty covers parts only against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use, as determined solely by Pool Supply Express or the manufacturer.
Remedy: At our sole discretion, we will repair or replace the defective part with a new or refurbished equivalent of similar value and functionality. Replacement parts may be sourced from the original manufacturer or a compatible supplier.
Eligibility: Applies to all products sold on our site except chemicals, consumables, filters/media, wearable items, and disposable components (e.g., O-rings, gaskets, bulbs, fuses, or items subject to normal wear).

2. Important Conditions for Coverage

To qualify for warranty service, all of the following must be met:

The product must have been purchased new (not used or refurbished) from Pool Supply Express.
You must provide proof of purchase (order number, invoice, or receipt).
Any claimed defect must be diagnosed in writing by a certified pool technician or licensed professional (e.g., CPO-certified or equivalent). We reserve the right to require verification of the technician’s credentials.
The defect must be a true manufacturing defect — not due to installation, maintenance, or usage issues.
The product must have been installed, operated, and maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

We do not cover labor, installation, removal, diagnostic fees, shipping to/from our facility, or any other associated costs. All such expenses are the customer’s responsibility.

3. What This Warranty Does NOT Cover (Exclusions)

This is a limited warranty and does not cover:

Labor, service calls, travel, or installation/removal costs of any kind.
Damage or failure caused by improper installation, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or modifications.
Issues resulting from incompatible chemicals, water chemistry imbalances, freezing, power surges, acts of nature, or normal wear and tear.
Products installed in commercial, non-residential, or high-use applications (unless explicitly approved in writing).
Shipping damage (claims must be filed with the carrier).
Products altered, repaired, or serviced by unauthorized persons.
Cosmetic issues that do not affect performance.
Any product where the original manufacturer’s warranty has been voided.
Chemicals, filter media, or consumable items.

Pool Supply Express makes no other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so this may not apply to you.

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

Contact our customer service team within the 1-year period via email or our contact form with:
- Proof of purchase
- Detailed description of the issue and photos/videos
- Written diagnosis from a certified pool technician
We will review the claim promptly (typically within 2-3 business days).
If approved, we will issue a replacement part (shipping costs may apply depending on the situation).
We reserve the right to inspect the defective part or require it be returned at your expense before issuing a replacement.

All decisions regarding warranty claims are final and at the sole discretion of Pool Supply Express.

5. Additional Terms

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
We may update this policy at any time; the version in effect at the time of purchase applies.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state.
